Welcome to Kombative Fitness.

Widely known as Penang Top Team, Kombative Fitness is a MMA Gym that provides a wide array of combat sports like Muay Thai, Boxing, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts(MMA), Brazillian Jiu Jitsu(BJJ) both Gi & No Gi, Wrestling and Bootcamp.

Kombative Fitness is a safe space for you to get fit and stay in shape while learning skills which will increase your self confidence as well as providing you with an outlet to manage stress.

BEKZAT

Hailing from Dubai, Bekzat Jidebai is our Head BJJ coach that holds a brown belt under Professor Omar Abdurashidov. He currently represents Abu Dhabi Top Team. One of his greatest achievements in the BJJ scene was winning the Abu Dhabi World Championships.

Edwin Mook is a veteran Muay Thai fighter that has competed in multiple Muay Thai tournaments. As a BJJ Blue Belt, he shares great interest rolling on the mats and competes in grappling competitions.

Coach Aru is our experienced boxing trainer of Penang Top Team. In his early days, Coach Aru has made a name for himself in the National Boxing Championship. He was also the former national boxing coach for the Malaysian Team and he still referees in boxing matches worldwide.

RAYMOND

Raymond Tan is a former ONE Championship fighter with experience of over 5 professional fights and has one the fastest submissions during his time in the cage. He is a Purple Belt BJJ practitioner and has competed in grappling competitions both locally and internationally.

Josh Khiew is our passionate MMA coach of the team. He was previously training at Jackson Wink MMA Academy and later on made his way to Penang Top Team. You may recognise him from MIMMA Season II Title Challenger.
